A Break In Sight!

It won't be long, less than a month, and I will have a month, that's right, A MONTH off of school!!! Of course, just about every minute is planned with stuff to do, Christmas shop, decorate the house, organize the house, finish the kitchen etc.

That's right, finish the kitchen. It does not look any different than it did before. As always, I had big plans, but life got in the way.

As I look forward to this upcoming break, I have been worried about finals, making sure I have enough "cushion" to pass my classes, (you have to have a 75% to stay in school~I have the "cushion") getting things done around the house etc. Sunday night when I was studying, I had the TV on, (noise is a must for me to study, if it's too quiet, my mind starts to wander) and Extreme Makeover was on. I took a moment to see the family discover their new backyard.

In the backyard, was a bench that the make over team had inscribed with a saying the dad said when he was diagnosed with cancer; "There's a lot of things to think about, but nothing to worry about". That one thought said so much.

Everything in life happens for a reason. Worrying won't change the outcome and you can "what if" forever.

God put me where I am for a reason. He's in control and always has been. I guess I just needed to see a bench to help me remember that.
