A Tragic Start

Well, as I said, I was going to St. Louis this past weekend. We left Thursday afternoon after clinicals. We prepared ourselves for the long drive, (about 3-4 hours) and were singing, badly, with the radio and talking. Since we were all leaving at different times, my friend, Celena and I road together in my van.

We were an hour or so outside of Kansas City when we came upon a wreck. Since I didn't see any emergency equipment, I said that we had to stop.

It turns our one of the cars had two of our classmates in it!!

They ended up ok, but the one on the passenger side took most of the damage and she had a severe concussion and double whiplash. She was sent by life flight to a hospital in Kansas City since she had a head injury. They are both at home bruised and sore, but at home.

After staying at the hospital, (a small, small hospital with three rooms in the ER) we were all off to St. Louis. We all had a wonderful time. Friday we had a dinner theater performance that was a ton of fun. The two pictures here are taken at the dinner. There were 12 of us at the convention. We all had so much fun!!!

I did achieve all the goals I had before I left. Yes, I do have pictures needed for blackmail, should the need arise.
