I got a question from a friend asking where the name for our blog came from. Well, it is our family motto.
One day we were out to dinner with Sean's grandma Nancy, I think Michael was about four, and she commented on how polite the kids were. I was thinking about that one day when they weren't using their manners and I just said it.
So, if you ask either one of the kids "what is your family motto", they will tell you, "We're the Prideaux's and we have manners".
well, sometimes.
I'm going to ATTEMPT to post several times a month
I said attempt, not will.

An Update
I know, I know, I've been really bad about updating our blog. I'm "a little busy" with something.
In a nut shell:
In a nut shell:
- I'm back at school, very hard semester that includes micro biology
- Working
- Sean and my dad built the paint booth for the shop
- Noelle had a meeting about her trip
- Michael won first place in his den for pinewood derby
Michael has been going through "mommy" withdrawal pretty bad for some reason. I know it's because, as he told me with big tears, "you're never home". I think I'm going to put a calendar with a count down to graduation. Maybe that will help. I feel so bad when he cries and it makes me want to drop everything, but I know I can't.
I know that, in the end, this will all be worth it. Right now, it doesn't always feel that way.

Not A Floater
I decided I wanted a home and no longer desired to "see where I was going" when I got to work.
I now am working on 10 south. I really like the people I work with and we all work well together. My plan is still to return to the emergency room. I may, however, do a stint in the ICU. I would really like to be a flight nurse. In order to do that, you have to have ER and ICU experience.
I worked with several nurses in the ER that worked flight a couple of days a month. It's something exciting and I think it would be very rewarding to be one of the first people on the scene to help someone.
One of the nurses I work with has almost the same last name as I do. She has an "m" where I have a "d". How strange is that?

A Little Behind
I know, I know it has been a while since I have updated our blog. I have been busy, doing what, I don't really know.
Since my break started I have:
- went out with some school friends
- worked, worked & worked
- waited until the last minute to do Christmas shopping
- celebrated Christmas
- watched my twin nephews turn one (here's a slide show of the party)
- celebrated the New Year
- celebrated my dad retiring after 37 years 8 months working for Uncle Sam
- worked some more
- rearranged Noelle's room
- almost caught up the laundry
- kept the house straightened up
- babysat the twins
- thought about repainting the bathroom off the kitchen
- taken the Christmas lights down
Since my break, I have not:
- worked on removing wallpaper from the kitchen
- worked out (I did think about working out and will start before school does)
- taken down the Christmas tree (am planning on taking it down Friday)
- ordered my school books
- updated our blog
- written our Christmas letter
- bathed the dogs (Molly went to the groomer)
- listed the stuff on eBay I wanted to get rid of
Considering the "have done" list is longer, I think this break has been successful.
