Two more rooms to go and my "house overhaul" will be completed and everything will be crossed off my list!
I'll more than likely do the basement next. Noelle's room will be a BIG overhaul. Her room is the same as when we moved in. Very little girlie. Pink and white gingham with a boarder of bunnies, kittens, puppies and baby chicks. It will be very hard for me to redo her room because it will be yet another "in your face" reminder that she is no longer a little girl.
Michael's room is still Buzz Lightyear. He has no plans to change it anytime soon. With Michael's "I don't care what anyone thinks of me" attitude, it is highly likely his room will remain this way when he is off to college.
It has really hit me lately that kids are growing up. Michael will become an official member of the "two digit" club later this month and Noelle will become a member of the "preteen" club. When I turn to my parents for sympathy, I'm met with "how do you think we feel?". I don't know, old??
Now it's time to clean a couple of hamster cages~the fun never ends.
