We took part in an early 4th of July celebration Saturday.
Before hand, Noelle and I went to a bridal shower for someone I took care of when I worked at La Petite. She was two at the time and will be getting married in July! I can't believe it.
Anyway, we celebrated with the Wilson's and had a wonderful time. Their son John was here for a couple of days from South America where he is a doctor working at a mission hospital. His wife Heidi has been here along with their son since November. Heidi gave birth to twins in February (John was here for that of course and had to return) and she has been here since.
Michael has had great fun playing with John and Heidi's son and will miss him greatly as the five of them head back to South America. They will be back for Christmas and we look forward to seeing them when they come back.
One of the things we did was skeet shoot. It's something Sean and I have always wanted to do. The kids even took part. It was amazingly fun and we hope to do it again.
The evening ended with a fantastic fireworks show.
We will be getting together with dad at our house for the 4th as mom and Amy will be in South Dakota. Our show will be nothing like the one we just saw, but it will still be fun.
