- don't drive 12 hours in the car and forget your anti-inflammatory and pain medication, it makes it difficult to sleep when the pain in your hip/knee cap is so bad you want to hurl
- even if you take an Ambien, you will not sleep if you are in a great deal of pain, you are sleeping with your son who from time to time kicks, pushes and mumbles something about daddy, and even if it did make you sleepy, you are in "cat like mommy mode" so that you can comfort said son in a moments notice
- the sun comes up early here
Things I'm going to do today include, (and pretty much in this order):
- find the closest Wal*Mart pharmacy
- call Sean and have him call the doctor to call something in to help Michael relax, and new prescriptions for me to replace the ones I left at home so that I can enjoy myself pain free
- go to Vacation Bible School with the 12 relatives the kids and I are visiting
- watch one or more cousins play in a baseball game
- swim
- take a nap
It is officially 5:00 am. Michael has decided now is a good time to sleep deeply. If I fall asleep right now, I'll get maybe 2 1/2 hours. Wish me luck.
