Well, our time with the "Indiana Ehmke's" has come to an end and we are now home. We got home about 11:15 last night. We drove through some rain off and on, but for the most part, we had great weather driving both directions.
We were able to visit both churches they attend, one Saturday night and one Sunday morning. The one Saturday night was a lot like ours. The one Sunday morning was the one where Bible school took place and it was neat to hear the songs the kids learned and watch the video of different things that took place during the week.
The kids slept a good part of the way and thanks to Lori, we had some wonderful sweets to eat.
Michael had guitar lessons tonight and showed how Isaiah taught him how to play "Iron Man", Aaron was very impressed.
We had such a good time, we can't wait to do it again. It was so nice to visit with everyone and grow closer to them. It was the first time I had really spent any time with Merlin and Lori other an occasional together in Minnesota. For the kids, it was the first time they met most of their cousins. They met some of them when gramma died, but everyone was so little, they don't remember much.
