I know that some reading this may not be as enthusiastic as I am about our new President.
Tonight, I had the time to watch the coverage from yesterday. I couldn't believe how moved I really was by everything. From hearing "Air And Simple Gifts" to seeing President and Mrs. Obama dancing to "At Last". I just couldn't help but feel hopeful.
I heard today that there were between 1-2 million people at the national mall yesterday for the inauguration. There were no arrests.
It's nice to know that, on such an important day, with the large number of people witnessing history, we can be a peaceful nation. Yes we can.
