I'm off to Haiti tomorrow night. I'll be getting back about 11:30 pm on Thursday.
Sean, the kids and I went to the $1 store and bought a ton of stuff for the orphans. Along with the things that I got, 123 kids will be getting new shoes. One of the people going, Arissa, has a 10 year old daughter who raises money so that "orphans have shoes".
I'll miss Sean and the kids, but I can't wait to experience this. Arissa has never gone on a trip like this before. I'm hoping that she will be able to process everything. I told her she should journal when she feels overwhelmed. It will definitely be something she will never forget.
Today was a beyond busy day at the shop today. We sold two cars!! While we were selling the first one, someone came by for an estimate on a dent. When we were selling the second one, estimate guy came back to have it fixed! The phone rang off the hook in the middle of it all. It's good, but scary all at the same time. We sold a car on Monday as well, so that puts us three cars for this week and seven so far this year!
Praise God for all he is doing for us.
