Some of the things they say remind me of things the kids said. For instance, Amy wrote about Riley talking about "poop wipes".
When Noelle was about the boy's age, we were at K-Mart. Like Amy, I used flushable wipes when the kids were little. Anyway, Noelle and I were at K-Mart and they had the wipes on sale. I had about six or so in the cart. Noelle was sitting in the seat and she wanted to put the things on the conveyor belt. I was handing her things out of the cart so she could put then on the belt.
When it came time to put the wipes on the belt, Noelle started saying, very seriously, "poop wipes" after setting each one down. I need to remember this cute moment when she is getting an attitude.
Amy also mentioned how Jack is always asking questions when she is reading a book. (yes, this is true, when I was over for the Oscars, I think he asked 175 questions about what animals were in the woods in the book we were reading)
Michael was, and is, still like this. Regardless of whether we are reading a book or watching a movie, he either has some question or prediction.
He is also quite the comedian and has been making up jokes lately.
His latest one:
- Little girl: "How old are you?"
- Lady: "21."
- Little girl: "So, you've been three for seven years now?"
Not to be outdone, here is one I made up:
- What did Tigger say when he found Pooh?
- "There you are you little stinker".
