I know, I know, I'm way behind. I'll do a quick update and then, in the next day or so, I'll have several little blogs. (don't hold me to it)
Last I "blogged", I was about to head to Amy's for the Oscars. No real big surprises there, (except for the Sean Penn win~I went with the hype and picked Rourke). Amy printed out some ballots and we each made our choices. I came out ahead, but not by much.
Dad and I left for South Dakota the next morning. It went as well as it could. Gramma was ok at first then not so much later. Ronnie took it pretty well. Mom, dad and I will be heading back up the first of April to help Ronnie move. Start the prayers now.
Here is an update on things around here:
Noelle: is getting ready for her school musical. I can't believe she is going to be in eighth grade, (junior high) this fall let alone a teenager in May. Where does the time go. She is really looking forward to this Saturday as it is the annual Father/Daughter Dance at church.
Michael: is getting ready to start outdoor soccer. It looks like his friend, Cameron, from down the street will be joining his team. He is beyond excited. I can't believe he starts middle school this fall. We will be having a Mother/Son Date this Saturday.
Sean: is working like crazy at the shop. Our inventory continues to grow. I'm just so proud of how far he has come. He is putting in a lot of hours. I'm almost afraid to think of how busy things will be once spring gets here.
Me: I've been doing private duty not far from home taking care of a boy with Escobar's syndrome. He requires constant monitoring during the night as well as being turned every two hours. His parents work full time and it can be a long day for them if they have to take care of him all night and then work during the day. He has a younger brother with the same disease. The brother does not require care at this time.
I'm hoping to update more frequently~no promises.
