What A Week

Man, this was a fast week.

The kids mom and I had a good time with gramma and Ronnie. She was doing pretty well for a 94 year old with a broken pelvis. Her spirits were up and that helps so much. We washed the "bird stuff" off the car. Sean will have to polish it, but at least it left a "little" mark.

Mom got me the book, "The Shack" to read. I finished it by the time we got home. I normally can't read in the car, but I guess God felt I needed to read it because I didn't feel ill once.

One of my favoirte things to do is find "stupid signs" on trips. This trip provied a few of those. Enjoy the photos included below.

The kids have been enjoying the last weeks of their summer vacation. Hard to believe that school starts for them in less than a month! Noelle is counting down, Michael, not so much.

Daisy continues to chew on things she shouldn't. Potty training has its good days and bad days. I'm not sure how something so small can go potty outside then five minutes later go on the carpet.

This has been a busy week at the shop, thank the Lord. It was kind of slow, then suddenly, we sold four cars in two days.

I worked some this week and tonight, Noelle and I are watching the boys. Michael wasn't feeling well, so he gets some one-ono-one time with daddy.

Feathers & Poop

In accordance with the "traveling circus" that is our family, last night on our way to Watertown after seeing gramma, a pheasant decided to end its life by flying into the car.

This goes along with our previous "circus" experiences that have included such things as: a nail in a tire, a blow out of a tire on a different trip, running out of gas and bad weather. I really feel that the state of South Dakota is telling us "stay the hell out of our state or it will get worse!!". EEKK!! Here are some photos of the "crime scene".

We Are Home Again

Well, we had a blast!!!

We got home in time to head out to a 4th of July party. It was a long drive, but so worth it. Time went by too fast.

We, of course, will be going back next year. A couple of the kids have said they want us to stay a month!

The kids, mom and I will be heading to South Dakota for gramma's 94th birthday in the next week. We'll be taking mom's car as I've put on over 5,500 miles on the van in the last three weeks. A lot of miles, but worth every one.

The kids and I can't believe how big Daisy has gotten!! Noelle is hoping that she won't get much bigger. She's still much smaller than the other two and very, VERY ornery!!

For some reason, we didn't take many photos. Mer and Michaela took some and once they send them, I'll post theirs.

I believe it's nap time here.
