The lights are on the house, the tree is up (with about 700 lights), the mantle is decorated and the stockings are hung.
It has not felt much like Christmas is just around the corner here...until today. Holy cow did winter show up! It started with a rain/snow mix last night. Michael and his friends were SURE school would be canceled today. Why were they so sure? Well, they had come up with the "perfect plan". They wore their pajamas inside out and backwards, did a snow dance and last but not least slept with a spoon under their pillows.
Michael was devastated, DEVASTATED, that he had school today. There is a chance of no school tomorrow. I'm sure he will be doing the the whole ritual again tonight.
Noelle is getting closer to leaving for Quebec. She won a $300 scholarship for her paper titled; "Why I Want To Go To Quebec". Much to her dismay, the $300 that would have gone for the last payment of her trip will NOT be used as "shopping money" in Canada.
We, (read dad) installed a Rain Soft water softener. Our hope is that is will make a difference in Michael's skin. We got the idea after the guy at the music store mentioned that it helped him. I did some research and found that studies have shown a vast improvement when people with eczema use softened water.
