I know it's hard to believe, but I'm posting on our blog.
As time goes on, I wish I could duplicate myself. One to study for those damn boards (again), one to clean the house, one to work at the shop, one to run the kids here, there and everywhere and lastly, one to just relax and enjoy life.
The past month or so we've been busy with concerts, (not kids), soccer games and life in general. As an early birthday present, I took Noelle to the Taylor Swift concert. The next week, a friend gave me a free ticket to see Train. That same week, Michael and I went to see Stomp. I won two front row tickets off the radio before Christmas. Two weeks after that, I took Michael and his friend, Cameron to see a Wizards game. Amy, Jon and the boys gave him tickets for his birthday. It was the first time any of us had seen a real soccer game.
Grampa and Lucille were here a couple of weeks ago. That was a very nice visit, too short, but nice.
Tomorrow morning, the kids and I head to Indiana for cousin Michaela's graduation. We had pinky promised her last summer that we would come. You NEVER break a pinky promise. We will come back on Monday.
Dad and I will head to South Dakota next Friday. It's a trip I'm not looking forward to as it will be emotional for all involved. However, it's time with dad and that's always fun.
The shop is moving along well. We have a new mechanic and it seems to be working out well. We have also rented the billboard that is next to the property. We have one side for now and should get the other side in August or September. A friend of ours designed it. We have to do some tree trimming so people can see it.
Hopefully, I will do a better job of updating our blog.
