Just when you think you're done, you're not.
Yesterday was a crazy, productive day.
Once again, the first thing we did was drop off trash. We picked up Ronnie's truck from the mechanic and cleaned it out. While we were doing that, the mechanic showed up to pick up the riding mower as well as a few other things.
Next dad headed to Watertown to pick up a U-Haul...or so he thought. We didn't think to reserve one and I guess a lot of people move over the long weekend. So, dad had to drive about 75 each way to Montevideo, MN. We are now ready to start loading the U-Haul. Hopefully, that will go well.
While dad was off on his adventure, I was at the apartment doing our laundry, sorting and packing. God Bless Nelda!! I couldn't have gotten as much done without her. I thought I had cleaned out all the cabinets in the kitchen, but she found more stuff! We took a large amount of stuff to good will. That really helped with the overwhelming feeling of "what are we going to do with all of this stuff"? I'm going to take other things to a consignment store today.
Say a prayer as today we let Ronnie know that we are bringing the truck back with us. Mom and dad bought the truck a few years ago, so it's not like we're taking "his" truck. Regardless, it's hard either way.
Caleb has continued to win his games and plays at 2 today. Dad and I are taking a break to catch his game and then get back to work.
Well, off to start another busy day.
