Happy Birthday...

to my wonderful, loving, smart, beautiful, 5'11" little sister!!

I love you so much!!! You are an amazing person and fantastic mother. I remember when we were growing up and would fight, mom would say, "some day, you're going to be so glad you have a sister", once again, she was right.

I could sing for you, but I think you'd rather hear it from them...

Yeah, Yeah, I know...

I can honestly say that life has been crazy!!

I know it only takes a moment or two to blog, but by the time I think of it, I'm in bed and my brain goes "oh crap, I'll do it tomorrow".

After the kids and I didn't get to Indiana, it seemed like everything kicked in to high.

Since I last blogged, we have had the best car sales at the shop we've had, our mechanic side has started to grow, the paint booth had an issue, we've had thieves cut catalytic converters off of car three, yes, THREE different times, Noelle, mom and I went consignment shopping in Iowa, and the kids have enrolled in school.

In August, we sold 17 cars! That put us at 50 for the year. Last year we sold 56, we've sold four so far this month. We have picked up some mechanic work, mainly from a competitor. Our prices seem to be about half what they are. It feels like we are on the edge of exploding. Regarding the paint booth, it's now fixed, but one day Sean and I were sitting in the office and we heard a loud banging. I'm still not sure what it was, but the main thing is its fixed.

Yes, we've been hit two more times on the catalytic converters. The second time the car was ours, the third, it was a customers. We had done some work on their car and they came the following morning to pick it up. When they went to start it, they came back in and said, "it sure seems kind of loud"~GGGRRR!

Mom, Noelle and I made our annual trip to Iowa. I think we all agree this was our favorite trip. We all had SUCH a great time. It's always fun, but something was different about this one. I think Noelle has officially decided what she is going to wear the first day of school, I think...

The kids go back to school on Wednesday. Hard to believe that Noelle is a freshman this year. Time is going by way too fast. Neither one of the kids have a lot of kids they know on their "teams". According to the school, we live "too close" for Michael to ride the bus, so we will be carpooling with the neighbors again this year and Noelle will ride the bus. Of course next year, Michael will ride the bus and we will be too close to the high school for Noelle to ride, so I guess we will be carpooling for a while.

I guess that's it in a nut shell. I really will try to blog more often, really.
