Ok, I only have two, count 'em, TWO movies left to see.
Amy and I saw "Whiplash" on our "Sister Weekend". Two words: holy crap! It was very intense and during an important point, we both yelled loudly in our hotel room. I can see why it's up for best picture.
Sean caved and watched "The Grand Budapest Hotel". One word: eh. It was, well, a Wes Anderson movie. I've liked his stuff before, maybe I just wasn't in the mindset. However, after this one, I have a feeling Sean will no longer cave, although he DID say; "at least it was better than District 9". (there's hope for next years film that will probably be a crap shoot)
Dad and I went and saw "The Imitation Game". One word: speechless. There were so many emotions running through me. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE should see this movie.
I'm still FLOORED that "Unbroken" was not up for best picture. In my opinion, it should be in instead of "The Grand Budapest"
Tonight, I will be spending the night at my parents and will pay them $12.99 to see "Birdman". That will only leave "Selma". I'm not sure if I'll get that one in or not. I'm going to do my best because it really DOES make it fun to watch the show if you've seen them.
So that being said, for me, it's a tie between "American Sniper" and "The Imitation Game". It would be very hard for me to pick between these two.
I guess we'll all know the answer this Sunday.
well, sometimes.
I'm going to ATTEMPT to post several times a month
I said attempt, not will.

Doctors, PT, MRI Oh My...
I have come to realize that I have spent more than my fair share of time over the last 1 1/2 years spending time at doctors offices and other such places.
This realization came to me this morning during my PT. Gina, the lovely receptionist who ALWAYS makes sure there's a Keurig Chai Latte for me, made this statement:
"Hey Erin, isn't it almost time for your Oscar thing with your sister?"
For the last how ever many years, Amy and I park our butts in her basement. Her super fantastic wonderful husband, Jon, (let me just say no one and I mean NO ONE, has a better brother in law than me) makes sure that the Red Carpet show is taping so we can watch the arrivals and sets it up to tape the Oscars so we can fast forward through commercials.
Amy and I then decide what Chinese food we want to order. We then put on our pajamas and don tiara's while Jon, (did I not JUST tell you he's the best) goes and picks up our food!!!
Anyway, back to the story...
Gina remembered from last year that Amy and I did this.

I have now been at PT through two Thanksgiving's, two Christmas', two New Year's, two Valentine's and soon to be two Oscar seasons. Not to mention meeting new people and one of the therapists having a baby.
On the MRI front, I've had a couple lately. I've fallen three times since December, so I had one done to check to see if I had a pinched nerve and one to double check my shoulder, because lets face it, when you fall, it's always best to fall on the side you just had rotator cuff surgery on.
Luckily, there was nothing to report. They're thinking it's possibly an inner ear/sinus thing. Turns out that between both ears, having them rupture five times on their own and tubes twice, it can throw things off as you get older~oh joy!!!
So now, I go to PT three days a week. Twice for my shoulder and once for my balance. I swear, especially after the new exercise I started today, most people there would spill any and all secrets!

Stop, Sister Time!!!
I told Amy late last year that I wanted us to start having an annual "Sister Weekend". We did just that this past weekend!
We stayed at the Hotel Phillips here in town, ate, went to a great show featuring some of Amy's favorite "So You Think You Can Dance" stars, got Starbucks, shopped on the Plaza, got Starbucks, ate, got Starbucks and watched "Whiplash" so we can each cross that off of our Oscar list.
Here are a few photos from our weekend. The last photo is after a few trips to Starbucks...
