When I was in school, we all knew that we could practice for 90 days as a GN (graduate nurse). We graduated May 11 so some of us thought that would mean we could work until August 11. Uh, we would be wrong.
If you are good at math, you would know that 90 days from May 11 is August 8. So, what does this mean??? I have to take my test and present work with a letter from the state that I passed my test. If I don't pass my test (all together now:"that will not happen"), I will have to work as an LPN until I pass.
So the big test day is this week. Please remember to send positive thoughts and prayers my way at 2:00.
