The kids are out of school, yet again, today. I looked at the calendar before the school year started and noticed that the only month there are not getting out early or not having school at all is the month of April.
Last night, we had some sleet and later today we are supposed to be getting some snow. Since the kids have yet another snow day, they will most likely be going to school until the first part of June.
Michael, I believe, is on his way to becoming a profession "school skipper". The week of Valentines, he we home sick Tuesday and Wednesday, was at school Thursday and then Friday they had no school for "teacher inservice". Monday they had no school for Presidents day. He was home sick on Tuesday and back yesterday and now they are out today. For some reason, he has managed to pick up every nasty thing going around this year. It doesn't help that he seems to have received my sinus issues.
With a day out of school, I'm sure the kids are thinking "play, play, play". I'm thinking "clean, clean, clean".
I know, "mean mom".
