Well, I have my "new" car. It is a 1996 Buick LeSabre. It is gold and I feel like I am driving an "old lady" car. Actually, I told Sean that I feel like a 17 year old driving my grandma's car. He said, "so you're saying it makes you feel younger". I did not find this funny. The important thing is that it gets me from point A to point B.
Amy has always named her cars. The car that she was letting me drive was a purple Grand Prix named Violet. Violet was a fully loaded car with leather and heads up display. Violet was a cool car, that you looked good driving.
Amy now has Betty The Buick. She says that Betty is reliable, cool and someone you could go to with a problem. As I was listening to Amy describe Betty. I thought of Beulah. Beulah is someone you go to the grocery store and beauty shop with.
I hope to one day find my "Betty".
