It does not want to leave our house!
Noelle, who hates to miss school, came home sick the Thursday I was heading home from Haiti. She stayed home Friday as well. The kids didn't have school on Monday. I took her to the doctor on Tuesday. She went back to school Wednesday and Thursday. Friday she was home sick again.
Noelle got a part in the school play. We are so happy and excited for her. They are doing "Tin Pan Alli". She has to stay after school until 5 pretty much every day. This is the first time she will not be a part of the "make-up crew".
Michael got an early birthday present. A huge amp, two electric guitars and some peddles. A neighbor had them and had no use for them. Sean got wind of it and the next thing you know, they are at our house. This brings the amp total to three and the guitar total to five. The nice thing about the amp is that two guitars can be plugged in together. So, Michael's dream of a band is one step closer.
Things continue to go well at the shop. Car sales have been successful and the article that was in the paper has brought in some business as well.
I started doing some private duty nursing for a eight year old whose family lives about 20 minutes from us. It's not too bad. The hard part is staying awake! I sit in his room with him from 9pm-7am. They do have a TV in his room, so that is nice. He requires several different things throughout the night, but still, when there is no one to talk to or others to take care of, the hands move slowly on the clock.
Tomorrow night is Oscar night and I can't wait. I'll be watching it with Amy at her house. I think I'll print off some ballots and see how close I am. I've only seen one of the movies, so I guess it's a good thing I don't have any money on anything.
